Born in Somerset, I initially studied art at the City of Bath College. I have been painting professionally since 2009. My love for nature and landscape is clear in my enchanting and evocative paintings. I work with a wide range of materials including pen and ink, wood stain, acrylics and varnishes. I attach collage materials such as sheet music, vintage maps, botanical diagrams and illustrations to my canvases and I use these within the artwork to tell a story of the past, bringing a sense of nostalgia into my work. The viewer initially sees a coastal scene, often West Country fishing villages, and then on closer inspection finds a whole world of text and illustration lying within the painting.

I have exhibited at many art fairs in London, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, San Francisco, and the Hamptons. Along with many UK galleries.
