Growing up amidst the rolling hills and dramatic coastlines of England’s West Country, my art is inspired by a lifelong love of the outdoors—rugged cliffs, tranquil fishing villages, and the ever-changing coastal light. After studying art at Bath College and continuing my education at university, I developed a distinctive approach that blends traditional painting with collage. I work in a wide range of materials, incorporating elements such as sheet music, historical maps, poems, and botanical diagrams to evoke a sense of exploration.
Each piece invites viewers to look closer, revealing a hidden world of text and illustration beneath layers of ink and paint. This intricate interplay of imagery and material excites the senses, taking the viewer on a voyage of discovery and limitless adventure—mirroring the landscapes and stories that inspire me.
